A structured evidence base for clinical research

Move from a research question to comparable trials and the organizations, people and documents behind them.

Clinical trials

Study design, indications, phase, medicinal products, eligibility, endpoints, recruitment, countries and timelines.

CROs and partners

Organizations linked to trials, their recorded roles and the underlying study evidence. Compare relevant experience for your project.

Research sites

Trial locations and site participation, connected to the trials that demonstrate their research experience.

Principal investigators

Investigators, their trial participation and associated research sites, with evidence for your selection.

Protocols and documents

Available protocol text and trial documents for detailed questions about design, eligibility, endpoints and study conduct.

Structured intelligence

Connected records that agents can search, filter, compare and explain, with source evidence and clear distinctions between reported facts and analysis.

Connect your agent

  1. ChatGPT: use the TrialAgents Intel app when available in your workspace. For a custom MCP connection, enter the research MCP URL above in your client's supported connector setup.
  2. Claude or another MCP client: add a remote server using the research MCP URL and Streamable HTTP. Client support and account requirements depend on the host.
  3. Own software: initialize an MCP client against the research endpoint, discover its tools and schemas, and use the advertised authentication flow when an operation requires an account.
  4. Connect your TrialAgents account when prompted: sign in with your existing account or create one. Continue the same research and open saved projects in TrialAgents Intel.

Each research selection supports up to 1,000 trials. The public preview shows up to 10 trials, sites, principal investigators and CROs each. Saving projects requires a connected account. Full matching lists and other paid capabilities depend on your account access. Connecting an account alone does not unlock paid access.

From discovery to a reusable research project

Find relevant experience

Ask for comparable trials, experienced CROs, sites or investigators. Refine the cohort by your study's criteria.

Investigate the evidence

Explore trial profiles, compare selections, review available protocol and document content, and trace findings back to the evidence.

Keep working in Intel

Save a project, revisit your selection and create Custom views such as reports, tables, charts and dashboards using your permitted data.

Try: “Find EU trials relevant to my Phase II oncology study and compare the CROs, sites and investigators with matching experience.” Then ask about their protocols, eligibility criteria, endpoints or timelines.

Agents should discover the live tool schemas, respect access limits and distinguish missing evidence from negative findings. Trial participation and recorded roles do not establish provider performance.

Useful details

What does TrialAgents cover?

TrialAgents documents all details about every clinical trial with medicinal products approved in the EU since 2021, with all information collected and structured. The research connection brings that evidence into supported agent workflows. Individual document retrieval depends on document availability and account access.

Where do I log in and find my projects?

Open your projects in TrialAgents Intel. If needed, you will be asked to log in through the existing TrialAgents sign-in flow.

Is this page the MCP endpoint?

This is the human-readable documentation page. Configure your agent with https://mcp.trialagents.com/research/mcp. Existing integrations using the legacy endpoint https://mcp.trialagents.com/mcp remain supported; do not change an existing integration's endpoint without checking its tool requirements.

How is account access handled?

TrialAgents uses its existing OAuth connection flow. Your client requests authorization when required. Email hints help fill in the login form; they do not authenticate a user or grant access to another account's projects.
