1. Who we are

Trial Agents provides AI-powered tools for clinical-trial document preparation and intelligence. Intel Agent is one product within Trial Agents. Questions about this policy can be sent to intel@trialagents.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account details, including first name, last name, email address and authentication information.
• Trial concepts, synopses, questions, revision requests and report selections that you submit.
• Technical and usage information needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
• Billing and transaction references for paid reports; payment-card details are handled by the payment provider.

3. How we use information

• Provide and maintain your account, projects and reports.
• Analyze your trial concept and answer your requested intelligence questions.
• Process purchases, provide support, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
• Improve the reliability and usability of Trial Agents products.

4. Analytics

Non-essential website and product analytics are enabled only after you choose to allow them. On trialagents.com, Advanced preferences let you independently control four optional categories: Site analytics (page visits and basic site use), Content engagement (use of reports and CTIS guides), Product usage (product entry, account and report activity), and Marketing attribution (referrers, campaign tags and CTA journeys). You may leave all categories enabled with Allow, or deselect any categories individually and save your choices. If Marketing attribution is disabled, referrer and campaign parameters are not attached to analytics events. Trial Agents uses first-party visitor and session identifiers across trialagents.com and intel.trialagents.com for the categories you permit. The preference prompt is not shown on Intel Agent, authentication, OAuth or logged-in product screens; a choice already made on a public page continues to apply there silently, and otherwise only the identity-free aggregate page count is recorded. Signing up, logging in or accepting this policy does not itself enable optional analytics. If you select no optional categories, we retain only the first-party visitor preference needed to remember and surface that opt-out; no behavioral event is sent to PostHog. You can reopen these controls through the Privacy & analytics link in the site footer. We do not send trial concepts, report text, form contents or passwords as analytics event properties. Permitted analytics events may be processed by PostHog using its EU infrastructure. The separately operated CTIS Agent at ctis.trialagents.com is not included in this analytics implementation. Separately, Trial Agents counts aggregate page requests without cookies or visitor, session, IP, referrer, campaign or device identifiers. These anonymous totals are stored in hourly page buckets, are not sent to PostHog, and cannot be used to follow an individual. Operational records required to provide the service, such as accounts, report runs, subscriptions and payments, are maintained independently of optional analytics.

5. AI processing and service providers

Information you submit may be processed by contracted infrastructure, AI, authentication, analytics, email and payment providers solely to deliver the service. We require service providers to protect information and use it only for agreed purposes.

6. Clinical-trial information

Do not submit identifiable patient information, special-category personal data or confidential information that you are not authorized to process. You remain responsible for confirming that submitted trial materials may lawfully be used with the service.

7. Retention and security

We retain account and project information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet contractual and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of your personal information. Contact intel@trialagents.com to make a request.
